• Case Logbooks

The Case Logbooks are part of the Skills module, and provide the capability to track the execution of clinical procedures in a qualitative capacity, against various specifications. Specifically, the Case Logbooks are intended to track a small number of cases, executed by a trainee, in a very detailed manner. This mechanism allows trainees to document and record selected examples of their clinical skills as demonstrated in real cases.

Each logbook record consists of the entered metadata (name, description, date, etc.) along with the attachments (movies, images, text documents) and the grade from the local trainer when applicable.

    To access the Case Logbooks:

    1. Select and click the desired Area of Study from the drop-down menu on the right side of the ESCeL Learning platform homepage. (see menu on right)
    2. Find the navigation bar along the top of the chosen Area of Study page and click on "Skills."
    3. Click the "Case Logbook" tab from the menu on the left side of the screen.

Make sure any form of patient's related information and/ or identification is removed from your files, texts, images, videos before uploading your case details to ESCeL.
