• Procedure Logbooks

The Procedure Logbooks are part of the Skills module, and provide the capability to track the execution of clinical procedures in a quantitative capacity, against required minimums. This particular tool allows trainees to log the procedures they perform and the number of times they perform them.

Trainees’ progress through the Procedures Logbook will be tracked as they make entries at recommended intervals, ideally each month. Each ‘record’ or entry in this procedure logbook will correspond to a month of training, and is represented by a vertical column in the table. When the “Completed” value, the sum of local trainer-verified procedures for each procedure, is equal to or exceeds the minimum required value, the Procedure logbook is deemed complete, and that element of the Skills Module completion criteria will be identified as met.
